Our Responsible AI and Digital Ethics Principles

We strive to be industry leaders - but not at the cost of jeopardizing compliance and responsibility. Oh, and we want our jobs to still be fun and challenging in the coming years, decades, millennia.

AI and Digital Ethics policy

What we believe in

We believe in utilizing novel technologies. We eagerly follow new developments, not just to offer the best possible solutions to our clients, but also because we’re enthusiastic about this stuff.

However, we also believe in using technology responsibly by considering all angles, including ethical, legal, and security questions. A new tool is not only defined by what it allows you to do, but also at what cost.

When using AI, we don’t just build our clients’ requirements into our approach; we always follow our responsible AI principles. This ensures that transparency, accountability, and fairness are respected throughout the entire AI lifecycle.

Our principles

  1. We don’t rely on AI blindly. We always challenge AI output and ensure that strict technical guardrails—or, whenever applicable, a human in the loop—are built into our process to avoid hallucinations or misleading results. (You know, like a very capable but slightly tipsy colleague).
  2. We are transparent. We are open about our use of dedicated AI tools. Whenever we generate output with such tools on our clients’ behalf, we always do so with their approval. When clients have specific AI requirements, we select tools that match not just our strict criteria, but theirs as well.
  3. We prioritize safety and fit. We always select the AI tools best fitted to the purpose and conduct a due diligence assessment to ensure legal, cybersecurity, and ethical compliance. We pay special attention to security settings to guarantee both the legal and technical protection of data.
  4. We protect data. We always ensure the conscious protection of our own and our clients’ data, whether it is personal, business, or sensitive in nature.
  5. We respect Intellectual Property. Our industries are IP-heavy, so it’s crucial that we respect copyrights. This means not only careful prompting but also extra caution when picking AI tools; we select only those that ensure the protection of our inputs and the lawfulness of the output.
  6. We never use AI for tasks that require high precision or skilled judgement and we don’t use it to replace thinking, only to complement it. We chose this field—and our clients chose us—because we come up with innovative ideas by combining our collective gray matter with technical possibilities. We don’t want to hand over the innovative, thinking part to AI—that’s the fun part!
