Here at Mito Digital, we love creating clever things: apps, websites, and other complex digital solutions for clients such as Deutsche Telekom, Wizz Air, OTP, and many others. We are super proud of the things we put together and have fun doing them, but to keep it that way, we need your help.

Our Headless CMS team is dedicated to delivering top-tier DXP-based solutions to our clients. As a seasoned Full Stack Developer, you'll play a key role in shaping technology decisions, designing and implementing solutions, and driving the daily development of our ongoing and future web applications. 

The stack is pretty straightforward: React, Next.js, TypeScript, and AWS. You will also play a critical role in mentoring other developers on the team, putting your heads together when going ‘headless’.

Your tasks will be

  • Define, design, and implement the project's architecture while assuring the code's high quality aligns with the overarching strategic goals.
  • Participate in the design and development of our digital experience platform product, making it a top-notch experience from start to finish.
  • Deliver custom features based on a leading true headless, TypeScript-based CMS.
  • Build jaw-dropping frontend applications with React and Next.js that’ll make everyone React, 'What's Next?'
  • Develop custom middleware and backend-for-frontend solutions that complement our products.
  • Take part in the design, development, and maintenance of our project architecture. We code it, and we run it.
  • Facilitate the professional growth of fellow developers through training and mentorship. We are big advocates of lifelong learning.
  • Identify and resolve technical impediments, ensuring the smooth progression of the project by navigating through turbulence.
  • Foster a culture of innovation within the team through regular problem-solving (and coffee/beer) sessions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Advocate for the best technical practices within your team, contributing to a technologically forward environment. Rest assured, we will provide the right environment to support you.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills while working effectively with an international team of developers in exemplary English. We also need you to speak fluent Hungarian.

We need you to have

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer—half a stack doesn’t count—and 10+ years overall in the field as a developer. 
  • Capablility to translate business processes into development workflows and can effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with our core tech stack, including React (with Next.js), TypeScript, AWS, and microservices architecture
  • A strong backend approach with tangible skills in cloud architecture, databases, DevOps, container technologies, serverless services, etc.
  • Passion for quality, testing, and impeccable end results
  • Proven track record in mentoring and training other developers.

    01Interview

    If everything is cool with your resume, we’ll invite you to our office for a quick chat. You’ll meet with one of our colleagues from the People Team, who will introduce you to Mito and all the good stuff you will be part of if you decide to join us. She will be with you throughout the entire process and will assist you with anything you might need. You will have the opportunity to meet with the head of your future department as well. Most importantly, you will get to ask anything you’re curious about, from where our dogs take a nap to what specific tasks we work on for our clients.

  • 02Assessment

    Afterwards, we will give you a test assignment. We do this with everyone, on every level.

  • 03Feedback

    No matter the outcome, we’ll let you know what we think, so we all can learn from the experience. We greatly value your feedback regarding the whole process, so at this point we'll ask you some short but important questions as well.

  • 04Decision

    Just like with the test assignment, we’ll get back to you with our final decision, hopefully with a big and happy yes!
