Here at Mito Digital, we love creating clever things: apps, websites and other complex digital solutions for telcos, lottery companies and aviation brands all over the world. We are super proud of the things we put together and have a lot of fun while doing it.

Our lottery & betting development team of around 40 wants to get lucky: they’re looking for an IT Support Project Manager. If you are not intimidated by talking simultaneously to clients, developers and our project managers, then we feel like we’ve hit the jackpot.

Your tasks will be:

  • Keep in touch with our partners, our development team and our project management team when a client experiences issues with their product. Which they will.
  • You’re the first to spot when something’s not quite right — think of yourself as the gatekeeper of issues. No need to go log diving, but you’ll know when to raise an eyebrow and who to call in.
  • Actively monitor ongoing operational requests rather than fixed projects, identifying where each daily task belongs and making sure it’s handled properly.
  • You’ll have your hands on all our products – once something grows big enough to become a project, you’ll be right there seeing it through with the team.
  • Understand these issues and translate them into tickets, turning a “what’s going on” into something the team can start working on.
  • If you feel that an issue is beyond you, you are the one who escalates it to the right person –and as importantly, at the right time.
  • As a last step, you are happy to talk to the client again – this time with great news.
  • Help gather requirements and manage change requests from our client arranging them into individual projects as per our release plans.
  • Take part in and contribute to elevating our operational processes (including determining the ideal daily caffeine intake).

What we expect from you:

  • Some kind of technical background – we won’t ask you to rewrite a whole feature if something’s broken but it’s nice to understand what you see. A hint of devops and magic might prove useful too.
  • A few years of experience in the technical support of FE & BE or mobile applications. In the meantime, you can count on our human support.
  • Be fluent in Hungarian and be able to communicate in English, since we have clients from all over the world – and they either speak Hungarian or English.
  • Be familiar with Atlassian’s and Google’s or similar business product suits (you can even wear a business suit whenever you like).
  • Have some practical experience both with conventional waterfall and agile PM methodologies. Don't worry, you can always gain mastery of the rest here.
  • A few years under your belt in direct client support roles in the field of IT so nothing gets over your head.
  • Be ready to come to the office once or twice a week (don’t worry, we have a super nice building and very friendly dogs teams). Occasionally you may need to visit client locations.
  • Certifications of IT administration and Project Management are not mandatory, but appreciated.

    01Interview

If everything is cool with your resume, we’ll invite you to our office for a quick chat. You’ll meet with one of our colleagues from the People Team, who will introduce you to Mito and all the good stuff you will be part of if you decide to join us. She will be with you throughout the entire process and will assist you with anything you might need. You will have the opportunity to meet with the head of your future department as well. Most importantly, you will get to ask anything you’re curious about, from where our dogs take a nap to what specific tasks we work on for our clients.

  • 02Assessment

Afterwards, we will give you a test assignment. We do this with everyone, on every level.

  • 03Feedback

No matter the outcome, we’ll let you know what we think, so we all can learn from the experience. We greatly value your feedback regarding the whole process, so at this point we'll ask you some short but important questions as well.

  • 04Decision

Just like with the test assignment, we’ll get back to you with our final decision, hopefully with a big and happy yes!
