At Mito Digital, we build clever digital solutions – robust platforms, sleek websites, and smart applications – for clients like Deutsche Telekom, Wizz Air, OTP, and other well-known brands. We take pride in what we deliver and enjoy the process, too. To keep it all running smoothly, we’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Digital Experience Unit.

If you're fluent in React, TypeScript, and backend architecture – and enjoy mentoring as much as coding – you might just be the person we’re looking for.

What you’ll be doing

  • Designing and implementing architectures for modern web applications that not only work, but impress.
  • Building custom features on top of a true headless, TypeScript-based CMS.
  • Developing high-quality frontend experiences using React and Next.js.
  • Writing backend-for-frontend and middleware solutions that keep things running behind the scenes.
  • Taking ownership of project architecture – from first draft to live deployment. We build it, we run it.
  • Mentoring fellow developers and supporting their growth. (No capes needed, but you will be someone they look up to.)
  • Leading by example when it comes to clean code, scalability, and best practices.
  • Fluent Hungarian knowledge and a good command of English too.

What we’re looking for

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer. (Half a stack doesn’t count – sorry!)
  • A strong backend mindset: familiarity with cloud architecture, databases, containers, serverless services, and a DevOps approach.
  • Proficiency with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and microservices – and a working knowledge of how they all fit together.
  • The ability to translate business needs into development workflows and to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A sharp eye for detail and a drive for high-quality results. You're the kind of person who notices misaligned buttons – and fixes them.
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for mentoring and knowledge-sharing. Bonus points if you enjoy the occasional whiteboard brainstorm or code review chat.

    01Interview

    If everything is cool with your resume, we’ll invite you to our office for a quick chat. You’ll meet with one of our colleagues from the People Team, who will introduce you to Mito and all the good stuff you will be part of if you decide to join us. She will be with you throughout the entire process and will assist you with anything you might need. You will have the opportunity to meet with the head of your future department as well. Most importantly, you will get to ask anything you’re curious about, from where our dogs take a nap to what specific tasks we work on for our clients.

  • 02Assessment

    Afterwards, we will give you a test assignment. We do this with everyone, on every level.

  • 03Feedback

    No matter the outcome, we’ll let you know what we think, so we all can learn from the experience. We greatly value your feedback regarding the whole process, so at this point we'll ask you some short but important questions as well.

  • 04Decision

    Just like with the test assignment, we’ll get back to you with our final decision, hopefully with a big and happy yes!
