Here at Mito Digital, we love creating clever things: apps, websites, and other complex digital solutions for telcos, lottery companies, and aviation brands all over the world. Our lottery & betting development team of 30+ wants to get lucky: they’re looking for a hardcore Frontend Developer. If you are a pro at component-based JS development and would love to work on huge websites for both Hungarian and international lottery companies, then we should definitely talk. We cannot promise the key to winning the lottery, but with our 10+ years of industry experience, we can offer a golden ticket to this exciting realm inside out or rather, in the front.
Your tasks will be:
- Developing API-based web applications in various ways, always aiming for the best possible way.
- Implementing business logic, developing advanced frontend applications, and (really, truly) related tasks.
- Building and coding large-scale web applications, single-page apps, and websites on the frontend.
- Discussing technical solutions with other developers (doing that while having coffee or playing FIFA still counts as work).
- Taking part in the development of our ever-evolving frontend stack, ever-evolving our knowledge – and yours.
- Participating in your peers’ code reviews. Don’t worry, if you do it well, they’re going to love you for it.
- Collaboration with backend developers, and UI/UX designers to improve usability, which is at the core of our work.
We need you to have:
- Deep JavaScript knowledge (preferably ES6+) and rock-solid hands with HTML and CSS.
- When you hear "framework", you shouldn’t just think of jQuery – whatever else pops into your mind, we’d love to hear about it. We like Vue.js a lot, but if you’re into any modern JavaScript framework, even better.
- Unit tests? We know you know what we’re talking about.
- We will need your expertise in REST APIs. REST assured, it will be taken good care of.
- A sharp eye: we receive pixel-perfect graphic designs from our internal UI team and they will reward you with a lot of love (and sometimes beers) if you build their designs perfectly.
- A good relationship with AngularJS. It will come in handy when you work on some legacy stuff besides building new features.
We would be happy if you:
- have hands-on knowledge of Docker and experience with GitLab CI, Nuxt.js, and JavaScript testing frameworks is a big plus.
- know when and how to React. It is not mandatory, but in case you are not an expert on Vue.js, we can then easily convert your skills to match our needs.
