Our Client Services team is the glue that holds it all together, but even the best need backup. That’s where you come in.

Are you an Account Director with a knack for managing ATL and digital projects?

If your answer is a loud “YES” (or better yet, “HELL YEAH”), keep reading.

We work dedicated hubs, each handling 3-4 clients. These hubs are led by a Client Service Director (your boss) and a Professional Lead (who oversees creative & strategy). As Account Director, your mission is to keep things profitable, smooth, and exciting, spotting new business opportunities along the way.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading & mentoring a team of 3-4 on one of Mito’s biggest clients.
  • Keeping clients & your team on track – with a firm but friendly hand.
  • Bridging the gap between designers, developers, marketing directors, and all the other smart people around.
  • Making deadlines your best friends (or at least frenemies).
  • Owning projects from start to finish – with all the glory and responsibility that comes with it.
  • Defining project goals and making sure everyone knows what’s up.
  • Ensuring smooth operations – from admin tasks to strategic oversight.
  • Building strong client relationships – so good they can’t imagine working without you.

What we’re looking for

  • 8+ years experience in an integrated ad agency.
  • Leadership skills – you’ve managed client service teams before and know how to rally the troops.
  • A business mindset – you think beyond projects and look at the bigger picture.
  • Persuasion powers – because influencing clients and your team is part of the game.
  • Portfolio of past projects – we want to see what makes you proud. Bonus points for web, social, and mobile projects.
  • Client whispering skills – you read between the lines (and facial expressions) to know what they need before they do.
  • Political instincts – knowing when to push back, when to take on more, and how to keep everyone happy.
  • Strategic thinking – business planning and high-level operational insights included.
  • A team player mentality – because we’re all in this together.

    01Interview

    If everything is cool with your resume, we’ll invite you to our office for a quick chat. You’ll meet with one of our colleagues from the People Team, who will introduce you to Mito and all the good stuff you will be part of if you decide to join us. She will be with you throughout the entire process and will assist you with anything you might need. You will have the opportunity to meet with the head of your future department as well. Most importantly, you will get to ask anything you’re curious about, from where our dogs take a nap to what specific tasks we work on for our clients.

  • 02Assessment

    Afterwards, we will give you a test assignment. We do this with everyone, on every level.

  • 03Feedback

    No matter the outcome, we’ll let you know what we think, so we all can learn from the experience. We greatly value your feedback regarding the whole process, so at this point we'll ask you some short but important questions as well.

  • 04Decision

    Just like with the test assignment, we’ll get back to you with our final decision, hopefully with a big and happy yes!
