Mito has grown from 3 guys, averaging an age of 27, to four Business Units with close to 250 people dreaming up the most clever things our clients have ever seen (unless they’ve seen an AGI somewhere). We all share the same DNA, but do wildly different stuff, from local and global campaigns to cutting-edge digital tools used by millions, for clients all across the globe. Picture it like a beehive where no two bees are completely alike - which makes the job of someone in people & culture business partnering significantly harder. But if you're passionate about shaping and maintaining a positive company culture, you’re not alone and we'd love to talk to you.
You’ll have the opportunity to refine processes and embrace innovations that strengthen partnerships and stakeholder involvement in the business units you manage as a BP. In addition, you’ll develop and lead your own small team, all while being part of a strong and supportive HR department. If you see HR as a strategic partner rather than just an administrative function, this could be the perfect fit!
Here are your tasks:
- You will be involved in strategic planning and decision making on both P&C and organizational sides.
- Ensure that the strategic objectives of each business unit in your scope (as directed and delegated by the Head of P&C) are put into practice. These may include: talent management, career development, employee relations and operations, employee retention and improvement and implementation of performance appraisal process etc.
- Independently monitor and coordinate the performance, development and work of your own team.
- Coordinate strategic resource planning with the business, then translate it into actual recruitment needs.
- Identify business unit specific and team needs, propose and develop development plans for the future (e.g. new hires, leadership development, professional program proposals), aligned with the P&C Head.
- Drive training and development initiatives by providing support to leadership in managing and enhancing internal training programs.
- Cooperate in compensation and benefits processes (payroll validation, salary planning with stakeholders for business units, benchmarking etc)
- Build and maintain close working relationships with managers and staff, developing and maintaining an advisory role, coaching and mentoring where appropriate.
To be perfect for this role, we need you to have:
- Preferred but not exclusively: at least Bachelor's degree in human resources / psychology / organizational development or related fields
- 4-5 years of related work experience as an HR Generalist, and min. 2 years in a business partnering role.
- Solid knowledge of and experience in Hungarian labor law, compensation and benefits, learning and development, performance and talent management areas
- Advantage: You have experience in leading a small team (1-2 FTEs)
- Excellent communication skills in Hungarian and English.
- Proactive mindset, the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and a strategic approach.
- Have significant experience working closely and engaging with senior stakeholders (with various personality profiles from creative to analytical, remember the beehive?) to share and drive HR initiatives that make a positive impact
- Positive, can-do attitude, ability to drive change through the organization
- Discretion, empathy, but with a strategic and business mindset
- Accountability for actions and support for the leadership team in delivering transformations within the organization
What you can expect:
- You will have a supporting team around you (everyone says that, but we mean it).
- We will encourage and support you in turn when implementing your own ideas and proposals.
- We’re proud to foster an awesome learning environment.
- Lots of stuff to make you feel and be healthier.
- The option to work both from home and the office (not at the same time though, physics doesn’t support that yet).
