Mito has grown from 3 guys, averaging an age of 27, to four business units with over 200 people dreaming up the most clever things our clients have ever seen (unless they’ve seen the Large Hadron Collider). We work in four business units, all sharing the same DNA, but doing a lot of exciting stuff, from local and global campaigns to cutting-edge digital tools used by millions.

We're now looking for a People & Culture Advisor to support two of our business units. You'll be working closely with team leads and colleagues on everything from recruitment and employee relations and performance reviews to team dynamics and collaboration.

If you care about people and culture – and like clever things – we’d love to meet you.

Your tasks will be:

  • Being the supporting foundation to team leads when it comes to employee relation matters: remember this is your domain and your experience and expertise will always be heard and appreciated (pinky promise).
  • Working with our entire People and Culture team on everything from performance management to policy and process improvements.
  • Cascading HR initiatives, changes and useful information to your dedicated units.
  • Follow-up the onboarding, integration, and well-being of the newcomers. You will be an essential part of the team, escorting our people through their whole journey.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including preparing job descriptions, advertising, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and preparing employment offers.
  • If you feel that you have any further ideas about how we could be more efficient and well-organised, we are always ready to listen.
  • Plan and deliver internal trainings focused on soft skills and strengthening our company culture – whether it’s about communication, giving feedback, or enhancing collaboration, you'll be the one helping our teams grow not only in efficiency but in meaningful human connections too.

We need you to have:

  • An HR generalist, advisor or a recruiter background (ideally 2-3 years)
  • A decent amount of experience in recruiting for various digital or tech related roles (e.g. product managers, digital project managers, UX designers, business analysts, frontend developers, ballet dancers, kindergarten teachers, etc.)
  • A sense of ownership. We won't tell you how to do your thing: you're the expert and we will rely on you to complete our hiring needs and improve our processes while you’re at it.
  • Ability to handle complex situations with empathy and patience and understand the needs of the team leads as well as other (and future) team members. Beekeepers welcome.
  • A strong understanding of Hungarian labor law and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Tech savvyness and an analytical mind - yes, we love facts and reports as a strong base for our operation. There’s nothing more beautiful than feelings expressed in a spreadsheet.
  • You’ll need to speak HR in both English and Hungarian – fluently in one, natively in the other.

Our hiring process

  • Our hiring process

    01Interview

If everything is cool with your resume, we’ll invite you to our office for a quick chat. You’ll meet with one of our colleagues from the People Team, who will introduce you to Mito and all the good stuff you will be part of if you decide to join us. She will be with you throughout the entire process and will assist you with anything you might need. You will have the opportunity to meet with the head of your future department as well. Most importantly, you will get to ask anything you’re curious about, from where our dogs take a nap to what specific tasks we work on for our clients.

  • 02Assessment

Afterwards, we will give you a test assignment. We do this with everyone, on every level.

  • 03Feedback

No matter the outcome, we’ll let you know what we think, so we all can learn from the experience. We greatly value your feedback regarding the whole process, so at this point we'll ask you some short but important questions as well.

  • 04Decision

Just like with the test assignment, we’ll get back to you with our final decision, hopefully with a big and happy yes!
