Mito has grown from 3 guys, averaging an age of 27, to four business units, with over 200 people dreaming up the most clever things our clients have ever seen (unless they’ve seen the Large Hadron Collider). We work in four business units, all sharing the same DNA, but doing a lot of cool stuff, from local and global campaigns to cutting-edge digital tools used by millions. Picture it like a beehive where no two bees are completely alike - which makes the job of our Finance team extremely exciting. If you’re up for a challenge like this, here’s some good news: we’re looking for a Financial Assistant.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Relations: Maintain communication with vendors, ensuring all invoices comply with legal standards.
  • Invoice Management: Upload vendor invoices into our ERP system, Maconomy (Yes, it’s as majestic as it sounds!).
  • ERP System Maintenance: Keep our beloved Maconomy up to date with accurate financial data.
  • Jira Ticket Handling: Manage Jira tickets related to online purchases and reimbursements.
  • Bank Transfers: Oversee and manage bank transfer processes.

What We’re Looking For:

  • You have at least two years of experience in accounting within a medium-sized company. Plus, you’ve completed a few semesters of finance or accounting—and actually enjoyed it (We think that’s awesome, even if others don’t get it!).
  • Curiosity - You’re open to learning new things and expanding your skill set.
  • Patience for repetition, meaning you are not afraid of monotonous work. Monotonous work. Monotonous work.
  • Language Skills: You’re conversational in English (if you’ve made it this far, congrats!). Fluency in Hungarian is a must, as most of our invoices and documents are in Hungarian.
  • Someone who excels in Excel. (and in lame word jokes).
  • Bonus Points: Experience with any ERP system or being a certified public accountant will make us even happier.

Benefits ofworking for us

    01Interview

If everything is cool with your resume, we’ll invite you to our office for a quick chat. You’ll meet with one of our colleagues from the People Team, who will introduce you to Mito and all the good stuff you will be part of if you decide to join us. She will be with you throughout the entire process and will assist you with anything you might need. You will have the opportunity to meet with the head of your future department as well. Most importantly, you will get to ask anything you’re curious about, from where our dogs take a nap to what specific tasks we work on for our clients.

  • 02Assessment

Afterwards, we will give you a test assignment. We do this with everyone, on every level.

  • 03Feedback

No matter the outcome, we’ll let you know what we think, so we all can learn from the experience. We greatly value your feedback regarding the whole process, so at this point we'll ask you some short but important questions as well.

  • 04Decision

Just like with the test assignment, we’ll get back to you with our final decision, hopefully with a big and happy yes!
